Morning! ☀️ What’s everyone doing with their Sunday? More splashing in the paddling pool for our small people. Maybe a spot of gardening in between servicing their requests for🍦every two minutes… 👩‍🌾 Hoping to to reset the workshop after L&S’s epic Wedding this week. Buckets 🪣 to 🧼 wash. Composting. All the table centres were made foam free. The flowers sit in water, they were happy there 🌿 swipe for a video ➡️ x

The brief from Lucy & Simon was for classic white & green wedding flowers with all the scents, plus a happy gerbera or two. I put together a mix of Peony, Hydrangea Roses, Ami, Baby’s Breath, Mint, Rosemary, Jasmine, Eucalyptus to name a few. All the joy! 🤩☀️☺️🤍🎉🌿🌱🤍

What a day. Here are some buttonholes made with scented jasmine, eucalyptus, white lavender, roses and rosemary. Oh and my new work shoes 💖! I used some lovely @ribbonandthyme mint green ribbon for the bouquets and buttonholes for Lucy and Simon’s Wedding today. We’ve been planning these flowers for two years, I felt really emotional as I dropped the bouquets over at L’s parents house. So good to see @jacqueslloydphotography again and meet @chloerosefilms . I can’t wait to see their work from today and know that L&S will have the best day. Congratulations both!🍾🤍🌿

This time last week… we were in full floral prod

This time last week… we were in full floral production. A workshop reset here today. There’s no glamour in this bit of the job. It’s washing up, cleaning buckets, sweeping up. Recycling cardboard. I’ve working on reducing waste for a while. All my greens and cuttings are composted. Materials like tubes, vases, jam jars are all reused where possible. I’m making some dye with eucalyptus leaves 🍃 it’s not all a perfect process but I’m heading in the right direction ♻️ now back to the 👩‍💻 so many emails… 🤓 and maybe a ☕️ xx

The morning after a very flowery week. There were genuine tears of joy from us as we delivered Anna’s bouquet & bridesmaids flowers yesterday morning. The relief of finally delivering the flowers that were planned. So much laughter & love. After all that’s happened in the last year we just knew they were going to have the best day together. I picked up these blooms this morning… such dreamy colours! Today has been a good one. Lovely flowery chats with @simhekflowers, a lunch date with Mr G 🌊 followed by a bit of flowering. Working on some big and and some new projects. So grateful for it all 💙 even cheerios on the kitchen table… sometimes 😅 xx

When I get up in the morning, one of the first thi

When I get up in the morning, one of the first things I do is pop out into the garden to let our chickens out. At the moment, there are more and more flowers in bloom, lots and bits and pieces to cut and play with. Cornflower and Phlox are on the way, never failing to disappoint the zingy Mollis lines the path full of green. I tend use a few stems of flowers or herbs to top up my work, just to make things feel special and unique. A bit like this beautiful pastel neon pot. I love how these rose petals pop with pink orange and yellow, they’re enjoying making friends in a riot of colour today ✨💫💐

A day of reset here today. Going back over the cal

A day of reset here today. Going back over the calendar balancing Wedding bookings with a reschedule or two. The last few weeks have been high impact i.e. messy (!) so I’ve tidied the workshop in prep for a next few weeks. Vases are washed. Floors swept. Old stems and flower heads composted. Boxes recycled. Buckets to wash next. All ready for the next influx of work. It’s #britishflowersweek too. If you know me well, you’ll know I love a British grown bloom… most often with bendy stems, gorgeous scents, and vivid colours just like this bucket of rainbow stems from a few years back 💐

Today has been a BIG day for flowers. Huge Congratulations to Dan and Julie who married earlier today at @westgreenhouse it really is the most beautiful setting… we loved building this archway and delivering your bouquets and buttonholes. We saw fabulous Chloe from @billetdouxevents doing her thing 🙌 and met @katies.beautyinfinity 💖 Just wait until you see the prettiest cake in Hampshire. So great to be back 🎉💐🪴💖☀️🙏

Flowers everywhere today... feeling a bit saturate

Flowers everywhere today... feeling a bit saturated with all the things to do this week. Waiting to hear what’s happening with the weddings we have planned over the summer - 30 people or 150 people... in flower terms this makes a lot of difference. Saying that, I am grateful to be so busy. Time to crack on and work through the job list. And then sit down and drink a wine🍷 😂
